On January 27, officers stopped Marshbanks, Turquoise E (42) of Joliet IL, in the 200 block of W. North Street for operating a vehicle with expired/suspended registration. During the traffic stop, officer learned Marshbanks used an altered/fake registration sticker to “avoid being pulled over”. Officer arrested Marshbanks or felony possession of illegal registration and cited for expired registration, suspended registration, displaying improper registration. Marshbanks was released with a notice to appear at Will County Court on 03/07/25.

On January 29, officers observed a vehicle traveling south at West North & Sharp displaying registration. Officer stopped the vehicle and spoke with Holcomb, Edward J (32) of Manhattan Illinois. During the traffic stop officers learned Holcomb had an active warrant out of Will County. Holcomb was issued citations for suspended registration and uninsured motor vehicle. Holcomb was also processed for the Will County warrant and assigned a new court date.

On February 6, officers observed a black sedan around East North & Thelma speeding. Officers conducted a traffic stop and spoke with Idowu, Olufemi A (22) of Matteson Illinois. While speaking with officers, a green leafy substance was located inside Idowu’s vehicle. Idowu was issued citations for speeding, possession of cannabis in motor vehicle by driver and expired registration.

On February 7, officers observed a vehicle speeding around East North & Thelma. Officers conducted a traffic stop and spoke with Keller, Jaren (31) of Riverdale Illinois. Officers learned that Keller’s license was suspended and issued him citations for speeding (48/30), uninsured motor vehicle and driving while license suspended.

On February 11, officers observed a vehicle with expired registration around Route 52 & Manhattan Road. Officers stopped the vehicle and spoke with Toyo, Nilso (45) of Joliet Illinois. Officers learned Toyo never obtained a valid drivers license. Officers cited Toyo for expired registration, no insurance and no valid driver’s license.

On February 12, officers observed a vehicle around West Nory & Manhattan Road displaying expired registration. Officers spoke with the driver, Tovar, Steven K (31) of Manteno Illinois and leaned that he never obtained a valid drivers license. Officers cited Tovar for suspended registration, no insurance, expired registration, and no valid driver’s license.
