On March 5, officers stopped Leal Acosta, Julio C (25) of Joliet Illinois in the area of East North & Cedar for speeding. During the stop, Leal Acosta produced a small bad with a green leafy substance that field tested positive as marijuana. Leal Acosta was issued citations for unlawful possession of cannabis by driver and released from scene.
On March 10, officers stopped Phillips, Tyree M (35) of Lafayette Indian for operation of motor vehicle with suspended registration in the area of Route 52 & Bruns. During the stop, it was learned Phillips did not have a valid driver’s and had a valid warrant Grundy County Illinois. License. Phillips was issued citations for suspended registration, no registration and driving while license revoked. Phillips was assigned a new court date for the Grundy County Warrant and released.
On March 10, Officers arrested Cadieux, Randall (55) of Manhattan Illinois at the Manhattan Police Department for a warrant issued by Porter County Indiana. Randall was transported to Will County ADF to be extradited to Indiana.
