Dial-A-Ride Service to be Absorbed by County: The Southwest Dial-A-Ride service is being absorbed by the larger Will County Dial-A-Ride service, which is offered through PACE. Township officials expressed hope that the consolidation will make the process of scheduling transportation services easier and more efficient for residents.
Property Tax Exemption Event Scheduled: The Will County Supervisor of Assessments Office will host an event to help residents apply for property tax exemptions on Monday, May 19, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Township Community Hall. Highway Department Seeks Tar and Chip Bids: A bid notice for the highway department’s annual tar and chip road maintenance program has been published in the Peotone Vedette. The deadline for bid submission is March 21. The bids will be publicly opened at 5:00 p.m. on March 24 at the Road District Office.
