Community Room Rental Increase Proposed for 2026:
Trustee Bill McGrath proposed that the township raise the rental prices for its community room. The proposed increase would take effect beginning in 2026. No official action was taken on the proposal.
Annual Audit in Process:
Supervisor Jim Walsh reported that this year’s township audit is currently being processed. He noted that the new auditor suggested that last year’s paperwork also be audited by his firm. According to the minutes, the township’s bookkeeper had completed the state compliance requirement paperwork last year.
Assessor Reports 36 Residential Appeals Filed:
Assessor Joe Oldani, attending via phone, reported that 36 appeals have been filed for residential properties within the township. The deadline for property owners to file an appeal was September 8, 2025. No appeals were filed for commercial properties.
Road Maintenance Underway:
Highway Commissioner Jim Baltas reported that the road district crew has been performing regular maintenance on township roads and equipment. Recent work has included paving and patching on various roads.
