In other major business, the board took steps to improve pedestrian safety and trail connectivity by approving a $77,500 contract with Robinson Engineering, Ltd. to design two new multi-use paths. One path will be located in Main Park, while the other will connect neighborhoods along Pfeiffer Road to the village’s wider trail system. Read our detailed report on the path projects for more information. The board also approved a nearly $31,000 expenditure for new police radios to replace aging and unreliable equipment.
