A recent monthly report detailed numerous projects where such machinery is essential, including grading and seeding at Ivanhoe Park, berm construction at Round Barn Farm, and general landscaping work. Staff also noted ongoing skid steer training for personnel in its July report, indicating a readiness to integrate the new equipment into its operations.

The decision to lease rather than purchase outright reflects a strategic approach to managing the district’s capital expenses while ensuring staff has the modern tools needed to maintain the community’s parks.
