The Manhattan-Elwood Public Library District Board of Trustees on Tuesday, October 27, 2025, formally approved a long-term strategic plan and the annual tax levy ordinance.
During the regular meeting, the board reviewed a comprehensive strategic plan presented for the district. Following a motion by Trustee Keri English, seconded by Trustee Amanda Dearing, the board voted unanimously to approve the Strategic Plan for the years 2026-2030. Prior to the regular meeting, the board convened a Tax Levy Hearing at 4:30 p.m. Board President Tom Murray called the hearing to order.
