Adopt-A-Highway Openings:
The committee discussed the Adopt-A-Highway program, introducing Hannah Turban as the new coordinator. Officials noted there are currently vacancies for road segments available for adoption. Public Meeting for US Route 6:
Director Jeff Ronaldson announced an upcoming public meeting regarding the Phase I study for US Route 6 improvements. The open-house meeting is scheduled for Thursday, December 4, at Joliet Junior College from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM to discuss the corridor from I-55 to east of Houbolt Road.
