The board granted a first extension for a special use permit issued to Monee 77 LLC for a commercial solar energy facility located at 26723 South Will Center Road. The original permit, approved in January 2024, included four conditions.

Additionally, the board approved a first extension for Monee 32 LLC for a commercial solar energy facility located at the northwest corner of West Pauling Road and South Will Center Road.

Under the Will County Zoning Ordinance, special use permits can be extended on up to four separate occasions for up to 180 days each. These extensions allow the developers additional time to complete necessary permitting and pre-construction activities. Both extensions are valid until July 17, 2026.
