County Approves Engineering for Peotone Road and Safety Upgrades

In a separate safety measure, the board approved an intergovernmental agreement between the Village of Peotone and Will County. This agreement allows for the placement of license plate reading cameras on County Highways located within the Village of Peotone.

The board also addressed traffic safety through speed zone alterations. An ordinance was passed establishing an altered speed zone of 25 MPH along Golfview Drive within Green Garden Township in County Board District 3. Additionally, an extended speed zone of 35 MPH was approved for Channahon-Minooka Road (County Highway 32) in County Board District 1.
