Jackson Township Board Meeting | Nov. 12, 2025

The Jackson Township Board met on Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at the Township Hall. Supervisor Matt Robbins called the meeting to order at 6:31 p.m. Present were Trustees Jake Fanning, Norm Fanning, Coley O’Connell, and Michele Hallihan, along with Clerk Kathryn Hunt, Highway Commissioner Walsh, and Attorney John Gallo. Assessor LeGrett was absent.

The meeting covered routine financial approvals, community service projects, and intergovernmental agreements.

Financial Approvals:
The board unanimously approved the October 2025 minutes and the financial statement. Payments for Road and Bridge bills and Town Fund bills were also authorized via roll call votes.

Charitable Donations Paused:
The board considered a donation request from CASA of River Valley. However, noting that a donation had already been made in April, the trustees decided to wait before contributing again.

Toy Drive Event:
A Christmas Toy Drive is scheduled for December 5, following the local parade at Jack’s. Tags for the drive have been distributed to the church, school, and township hall to encourage community participation.

Closed Session:
The board entered a closed session at the end of the meeting to discuss specific employee matters, collective bargaining, real estate acquisition, and pending litigation. No action was reported following the closed session. The meeting adjourned at 7:22 p.m.
