A 45-year-old Beecher man surrendered to Will County Sheriff’s deputies on Tuesday, April 7, 2026, after an arrest warrant was issued charging him with multiple felonies concerning the possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).

Nathanial Travis is facing 10 counts of Class 2 Felony for Possession of CSAM. Following his surrender, Travis was transported to the Will County Adult Detention Facility, where he is being held without bond pending an upcoming court hearing.

The criminal investigation into Travis originated in January 2025 when Will County Sheriff’s detectives began looking into multiple CyberTips forwarded by the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC). Over the course of the investigation, detectives obtained numerous subpoenas and search warrants, ultimately identifying Travis as a potential suspect.

On July 8, 2025, detectives executed a search warrant at Travis’s Beecher home, seizing several electronic devices. A subsequent forensic extraction and review of the hardware uncovered multiple videos and images containing CSAM, according to the sheriff’s office.

An official arrest warrant for the 10 felony charges was issued on April 6, 2026, prompting Travis to turn himself in the following day.

Law enforcement officials noted that all charges are merely accusations, and the defendant is presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.

Information regarding missing and exploited children can be reported to the NCMEC by calling 1-800-843-5678 or by visiting their CyberTipline at https://www.missingkids.org/gethelpnow/cybertipline.
