Lincoln-Way West Offense Roars in 12-0 Shutout Over Lincoln-Way Central
The Lincoln-Way West varsity baseball team delivered a dominant performance on Wednesday, cruising to a 12-0 conference victory over Lincoln-Way Central.
The Warriors’ offense wasted no time, putting up six runs in the first inning to set the tone early. They continued to apply pressure throughout the game, adding three runs in both the second and third innings to build an insurmountable lead.
On the mound, Adam Redmond was in complete command for Lincoln-Way West. He pitched a scoreless five-inning gem, limiting the Knights to just three hits while striking out six batters and issuing only two walks to earn the shutout.
Lincoln-Way West’s balanced attack featured contributions throughout the lineup, as eight different players helped drive in the team’s 12 runs. Owen Weber anchored the power production with a home run and three RBIs, while Jacob Howard, Jackson Mansker, and Peyton Globke each chipped in with key hits and multiple RBIs to fuel the rout.
